Attention everyone who likes MWPP GAMES!
A POLL! Since I don't have a paid account you're going to have to use comments. Which is good, I want to generate discussion!

  • Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?
  • Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?
  • Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?
  • Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?
  • For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? So the characters have a chance to come together and click before it's going to be decided who marries whom? Or maybe a mixture of both? Some premade connections, some left open?
  • Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?
  • Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
  • Any absolute PET PEEVES?
  • What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??
  • ANYTHING ELSE???

Because I have an itch. That might need to be scratched. I really miss games like M75 and Madworld... and I'm letting the ideas steep.

    SO INPUT. PLZ.

This post is left intentionally unlocked. For those who aren't on my friends list that want to give input. Non-friend comments are screened, though, just because I get paranoid about drama in the ooc sense.

I like the set up you guys had for Madworld, so basically the options that that fit. So:

    -> In school
    -> No preference
-> Doesn't matter to me if Black family members ages are tweaked or not
-> I'd like to play my OCish character again
-> I kind of like the whole premade thing and non-canon pairings both, so how about a mixture of the two?
    -> Real time

-> I prefer a bit of an emphasis on journals rather than logs because they typically go quicker. But I'll go with the majority on this one.

And by journals, I meant the comment wars that ensue on some of them.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

After Hogwarts. While school games are fun, they're basically all the same after a while, and you never actually get to the meat of the war.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

War-centric would be fun only if there were sufficient ways to have people who are not in the OotP involved in ways besides running, screaming, bitching, and dying. Otherwise, just have an OotP game.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

plz dont break canon kthx. It's a silly, unnecessary thing to tweak.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

I'd love to pick up Ted again, no lie. Dougie MacDougal was a fun one, too.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? So the characters have a chance to come together and click before it's going to be decided who marries whom? Or maybe a mixture of both? Some premade connections, some left open?

I much prefer having non-canon pairings left open. That way, you don't end up stuck in a ship with someone you don't click with, or trying to force one with two character interpretations that simply don't work together. On the other hand, if not for premade 'ships I might never have gotten Dougie and Elaine, and they were great fun.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time. Anything else confuses me.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

Canonly het characters being gay. Any of the Marauders fucking each other. People forgetting that it was the 70's and that the wizard world tends to be culturally way behind the Muggle world.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

I think activity requirements should focus more on the ultimate goal of a game: involvement. Thus, I'd say that if someone posts a journal entry that involves a good solid comment war, she's done. If she posts a log, good enough. Basically, I feel activity rules should be flexible enough to allow for different styles of play.

    # ANYTHING ELSE???

WELL. Since I'm already working on that post-warts MWPP-era game, and I DESPERATELY want an in-school game, I'm voting for AT Hogwarts; I don't particularly mind either way for war-centrism; Black family tweaking is fine by me, but I don't play them anyway xD; since I have both Marlene and Alice (my two top go-to-girls for MWPP-era stuff) in my queue, I'd be willing to just see who else grabs my interest, so there's nobody I'm all "OMG I WANT TO PLAY!!!" or anything; I like having the premade characters, with destinies about their future marriages and spawn, because it makes for fun interactions (plus, that's part of how I make character decisions sometimes, lol); I prefer games that run on real time, simply because I start getting confused otherwise; for activity, I like games that just require ACTIVITY, whether it's in the form of journaling or RPing, because some characters are a pain in the butt to be constantly updating journals for, since they're "not the journal type," y'know?

    - YES ALWAYS :D And no preference for in-school/out of school- both are equally amazing

    - No preference :)

    - I prefer them untweaked, just because I like the family dynamic with the age gaps. However, I'm not OMG AAAAH GET AWAY if they aren't - I get that it sometimes works better for in-school.

    - lololol you know >.> but someday I should try a Ravenclaw. idk.

    - I like the mixture of both idea, but I'm not sure- I've only played in-school once or twice

    - Definitely real-time

    - Hmmm must-haves... Strong MWPP! Even though I don't play any of them, it seems that a lot of the time they set the tone. Also big plot in general.

    - I like the journal of a certain length or log of a certain length, just because sometimes logging feels betterand sometimes journaling does

Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?
OMG At school. With fourth years. Plssss.

Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?
Kind of both. I like war-centric games, but since it's at school, there's no telling how much that will be affecting things, so kind of somewhere in between the two?

Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?
Would prefer canon not be tweaked; however, do not really actually care really a lot.

Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?
If there was a Beverly Malkin on your cast list, I might die of joy, particularly if she was the Marauders' year Ravenclaw girl prefect. >_>

For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? So the characters have a chance to come together and click before it's going to be decided who marries whom? Or maybe a mixture of both? Some premade connections, some left open?
The last option. Particularly with Bev Malkin >_>

Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?
Real time pls. The "one month in real life and another in RP life" gets really confusing to me because I can't cope with it being Valentine's Day in September or something like that, my brain just shuts down and goes "bzzt" and is dead :(

Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
Fourth years. And Hufflepuffs. That's about it, really, though.

    Any absolute PET PEEVES?
Um. Actually, my only real pet peeve is a banned PB list, but that's neither here nor there since Felicitas Woll is never on those things.

What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??
Journals more than logs because logs can take a while to do, particularly since people don't tend to do the "open thread" thing as much anymore, and journals are just easier to keep updated. Activity posts are good, too.

    Here via Brandi! :D

I realize this sounds somewhat abrupt but I'm just running through your bullet points :D Personally, I'd love to play Alice Longbottom especially but I could very easily switch my mind to apply for Remus or Edgar Bones! I am definitely interested in a post-warts MWPP-era game, moreso than during school; I've had experience with in-school MWPP-era games and it became far more difficult to engage the students in Order/DE business when they have pesky things like exams and classes to attend. Even with that said, I'd take a look at a school-based game. I have no preference between a war-centric game or one that is more focused on character development in light of the events. I'd appreciate canon-reliant games regarding ages and physical representations, but I realize that not everyone is willing to be strict in this aspect. It really depends on how much "tweaking" is done, I think. I think pre-made characters have their pros and cons, but on the whole I appreciate them! Real-time operations are the easiest, IMO. I prefer journals as opposed to logs, simply because they're an easier way to facilitate discussion between characters, but I recognize that there are some instances where two individuals wouldn't necessarily communicate via journals, and vice versa with logs, where some characters would never interact otherwise (Bellatrix and Andromeda come to mind).

As for pet peeves, I second/third/whatever the comments made about sexualities and realistic representations of that.

    - I'd say out of school only because I've never played out of school for MWPP
    - I like war involved but that isn't totally 100% focused on it.
    - I say tweek ages and have fun!
    - If it is in school no set in stone. No this person is meant for XX because although that can be fun, I also have started to find it really limited... and sometimes those characters that are supposed to "Be in love" just don't mesh.... I am all for AU to let muses guid.
    - It depends on the game for the time line. For example if it's 2 days that tends to confuse me. If days are posted, that's cool, as long as one day doesn't last a month
    - I'd say basically I am really sick of things only being "romantic lines" lately. Which is for any game really. So I'd say try and find something past that? I don't know. Far fetched.

    - Absolutely. I'd prefer post-warts, if only because I tend to get bored with school games. They can be amazing games, but I'll still end up feeling kind of -sigh- after a while because one can only do so much.

    - War-involved is nice, but I have to echo Kate. Not all of the characters will be in the middle of the action, so there needs to be something for them to do. Obviously once the war really gets rolling there's not much choice, but.. you know. There would also have to be enough going on that it wouldn't be all woe and dismay or it'll just get depressing.

    - Canon, please. :)

    - Lily and Andromeda. :D Although, I'd be willing to not play Lily for Marlene if someone was playing Remus. *shifty eyes*

    - Premade ships are fine, but I think that maybe if there are less premade and more.. leaving it to others? Like, have the last names Corner and MacDougal and all of that somewhere on the list as a male's name, but for women have mcrandom last names from the Lexicon or a bonafide OC.

    - Real time. Oh, God. Real time.

    - Realistic stuff. Yeah, there's war.. but nothing TOO over the top. Also, it'd be cool if people really had a grasp on the stuff going on in the late 70s/early 80s. Obviously that's not something that can be helped at a mod's perspective, but perhaps have the information ready and available and stress that it ought to be used.

    - Kind of going along with the above, but I hate it when people forget that it's the 70s. I think that's half the fun of that era -- bell bottoms, cigarettes, and the slang.

    - Hmm. It's hard. I enjoy having the option of doing more logs than journal stuff if possible, but at the same time sometimes I'm too busy to just sit down and do a log or schedules don't mesh correctly. In that case, it's nice just to do a quick journal entry.

    - Ilu.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

    After Hogwarts, definitely.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

That seems to be the point of a Marauders'-era game, for it to be about the war. But like Kate said... make sure that there are things for non-Order characters to do!

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

I don't understand the need that people feel for breaking this bit of canon. It doesn't hurt to keep it.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

Amelia Bones, for DEFINITE! I'd also like to drag out Elaine again. And Flora. :D

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? My personal preference for this is to let people come together as they choose, with the expectation that at some point or another, these connections will be made. Maybe if they're premades, they are couples that have to be apped together? I'm not sure.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time, please. Anything else is just confusing.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

    Plot for all!

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?
    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

I journals, but I also really really enjoy doing logs, sometimes moreso than commenting. I mean, in a school-based game they're a little contrived - everyone is together anyway, so a group of Hufflepuffs having a conference in the journals seems ridiculous.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

I don't care! I've never really cared for MWPP, but uh, if I know a bunch of people in it, I might try it out (like I did with BOLLOCKS!!!!). BUT because I have this itch I want to scratch, post-Hogwarts would be better (because I want to play Stephen's dad somewhere, and I don't want him to be a young father like the Potters, would prefer him to be a few years older than they are and that wouldn't really work in a school game).

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

War can be fun! But yeah, there would definitely have to be plot for other characters, like everyone else has said.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

Canon plz! I don't really see why it is necessary to have them all in school. Whatevs.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

I would like to play Stephen's daddy! :D So that I can say I've played three generations of Cornfoot men! I'd like to play Finbar Quigley again, too, but otherwise, totally open.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? BOTH, maybe? Or... I don't know. I would hate to play Stephen Cornfoot's dad, and be forced into a ship with someone that didn't really mesh with my character, knowing that they're going to have a kid later on, you know? Or any pair, not just Stephen's parents, since he is sort of an OC. ;D I don't know how to sort it out, other than having people apply for characters KNOWING that they'll end up as a pair.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

    REAL TIME PLZ

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

I DON'T KNOW as I've never played in one for very long. :x :x What Kate said.

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

GAY REMUS/SIRIUS. I did that once and it's fun for AU and because it's hot, but not for a real game. I don't really have any others.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Howarts?

Always. I'm good with either, really. I'm in an after Hogwarts one, so I might be more interested in at Hogwarts, but in some ways not, cause I think I tend to prefer post Hogwarts as a rule SO... I'm flexible.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

I have to confess I'm so used to highly plotted games now that I'm leaning towards war-involved, but again, it's also what I'm IN, so something not so much so might be nice.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

    Canon please. :)

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

I will always play Sev if given the opportunity. I also wouldn't mind trying my hand at Lily. Other than that, Lavinia at M75 was awesome despite being quite difficult to play - or a character similar to Elladora that I played there.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Flap, Flail, IDK.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time, cause anything else makes my head hurt. I hate having to check calendars to remember what day/month it is.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
I think someone else said a strong MWPP - and that's true, it really helps make the game cohesive if you've got all four of them, but it's hard to do sometimes I think.

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?
Lack of etiquette and manners among purebloods, lack of remembering seventies cultural/social guidelines. It's fine to have homosexual characters, as an example, but they shouldn't be a huge percentage of the game, but it should be treated appropriately.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??
I am good with either really. I think it should make sense and be doable. I think both really are necessary if you're going to truly keep up, but it should be reasonable!

    # ANYTHING ELSE???

I liked the way the war was incoperated into Mad World. The game didn't completely revolve around it, but it was definitely present and offered good plot lines. I think what I would want is a game that starts off rather detached from the war, but the war becomes a more interacate part of the plot as it escalates outside of Hogwarts.

Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?
This isn't a big deal to me, but I'd rather tweaked. I think it's kind of fun when at least Andromeda and Narcissa are in school.

Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?
I'm seriously dying to play James again, but if I couldn't, I'm interested in trying Mary MacDonald or playing a character sort of like either Ernie or Wen from M75.

For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? A mixture of both, some premade, some not.

    Real time.

Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
Other people are saying this, but beyond strong MWPP, strong involvement of MWPP pranks within the plot, which would mean the mods and players would have to work together on that front. We had a lot of prank stuff over at Bollocks while it lasted, and I really liked it and it seemed very canon.

    Any absolute PET PEEVES?

I'm replying to this even though I'd probably be more on the fence than ABSOLUTELY interested, if that makes sense! I held at [info]kitten_patronus's game, and I've been screwing around with a friend for a little while working on a game (without the intention of opening it, we're cool like that). So a lot of factors would go into my answer to the interest part of the first question, but I'm going to answer anyway because it might help!

    1) Both have their advantages and disadvantages; both BL and Brandi's game kind of fall into that niche, but I suppose since both of them have an AU spin it'd be nice to have at least one Postwarts MWPP that takes on canon. That said, I think in-school can be done properly, but one of my big issues with in-school MWPP is people seem to treat it like modern day high school. I'm big on establishing the nuances of the era.

    2) War-centric, even if in school and just looking forward to the war and watching it begin.

    3) Nope. I like canon! But again, I recognize that's difficult if you want to do in-school. So if you did do in-school, I'd focus less on strictly Hogwarts and more on an entire cast with diverse ages. I know Hogwarts is isolating, but since so many of the founding OOTP members could remain students, there could be chance for interaction with adults that way.

    4) I would like to play Bellatrix, Alice, Lily, Sirius, possibly Frank, potentially Hestia or Emmeline. Like, normally in an HP game I can settle for someone minor, but when I look toward MWPP, I have a distinct desire to play someone who will be heavy hitting with plot, someone who is established, someone who is central to war-plot...THEN I'd want to consider someone minor as a second or third.

    5) I'm pretty indifferent, but it irks me when a) basically every name from HP's year is used (i.e. Mr. & Mrs. MacDougal, Mr. & Mrs. Abbott, Mr. & Mrs. Zabini) because what are the chances of that?; and b) EVERYONE and their mother is shipped. It's especially annoying when you see that one person has like eight characters, often female, that are meant to be part of a future coupling established by the mods. It sort of makes me question what the game is actually about and while I like shipping as much or more than the average bear, it's not what attracts me to a game.

    6) Real-time, but I'm indifferent RE: the month. So if I CAN be in a January = January game, that's awesome. But if January has to = September for the purposes of plot, I don't find that confusing so long as we just accept the difference in numbers of days and don't try to "correct" time.

    7) An attention to the era and plot. I hate games where everyone is just running about snogging. And I agree about the gay MWPP being canon-bending, to some extent. I know JKR has mentioned homosexuality is not as big a deal to the wizarding community or what have you, but treating those kind of issues with some respect is important to me.

    8) I think I've ranted enough throughout!

    9) I love logging, but I'm not big on being required to do one or the other. Require activity. Hit me with a stick to make me post. I'll be good to go.

    10) Nope!

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

I'd prefer after. I did enjoy school however I think I'm done with those kinds of games now.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

Mix of both like Kate and Jamie said. I think it'd have to be a balance between the two otherwise certain people would feel left out or not be as active. Perhaps something similiar to the profs "mains and supplamentals" would work well? Having the DE's and OtoP the main and any other connections as supps?

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

    Canon plz!

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

Narcissa. I would love, love to finally get the chance to play Narcissa but she'd likely be taken straight off. I've got a couple of characters I've never had the chance to play and would love to do so. i'd happily play gung-ho DE's too. :D

I think a mix of both would be best, give people that option kind of thing.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time. As much as I like The 2 RL = 1 RP I do know that in that kind of setting it doesn't always work great.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

Good plot to keep it rolling otherwise it just becomes a bunch of shipping pregnant people. A little bit of freedom. It's fair enough saying things must get to a certain point but a little bit of freedom/AU is nice sometimes!

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

Sirius/Remus. Right, it didn't HAPPEN as much as it'd amuse me, it did not and while it CAN be played out realisticly and well it is CANON that it did not happen. Other than that, no.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

I prefer logs as the whole point is WRITING and some characters are just NOT journalers. So, maybe a set amount but it could be either or? So "You must update once a week it could be either a journal or a log/thread" kind of thing.

    # ANYTHING ELSE???

    # In-Hoggies most definitely.
    # I'm interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric
    # Minor tweaks aren't really an issue, but when they're all in school at the same time that's kind of ridiculous.
    # SIRIUS BLACK!!!! Malfalda Hopkirk! Bellatrix Lestrange!!
    # Mixture of premade, and some left open.
    # Real time is fine, I like that best, but I understand the need to have it operate on other time.
    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games? -- A canon group of Marauders. No gay Remus/Sirius bullcrap. I'm sorry, I don't mind slash ships but please for the love of GOD -- JKR already said they were straight. And and interesting impending doom war plot. And PBs who look the ages of the characters. No models, plz.
    # Any absolute PET PEEVES? - I think I listed some of those up above. XD
    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around?? - I like journal entries a lot - I think a lot can be accomplished in them. Maybe 1 journal post a week, and logs are optional?

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?
YES. I... I dunno, both, I guess, I really really enjoy in-school games, but if there's enough over-arcing war plot I could get into post-warts too.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?
Again, either, really, but if it's in their later years, the war SHOULD be pretty centric. The backside of that though is those no particularly involved in the war need to still have good over-arcing plot. I mean, everyone's -affected- by the war, but people not actively fighting in it shouldn't feel like they have nothing to do.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?
I'd rather not break canon if possible, but if it's a school game, it's annoying to have that one alumni that doesn't get any interaction. So, not big tweaks, if tweaks are necessary.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?
ANDROMEDA, for sure - especially if Kate's Ted is involved. I'd also be up for playing Lily again, I wouldn't mind giving Pete another shot, just cause I hate seeing the main three with no good Peter. Then the plethora of originalish characters - I've got a Hestia Jones muse, Modesty, Barry, etc. I'd really want at least one fairly involved/major/canon character, then there's tons of other options I'd consider.

Eh, I like a mix of both. I don't mind certain characters being set up as parents - gives me something to plot with, but obviously not all of them should be that way or we'd have no flexibility.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?
Definitely real time in terms of how time passes - I don't mind switching months up though to keep plot, as long as a nice calender's available. It's nice if you can just have the months be the real ones, but not a must have for me.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?
    - GOOD MWPP
    - acknowledgment of the era
    - good balance of personal vs. war
    - good purebloods and death eaters
    - PLOT

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?
    - Any canon characters being gay (besides dumbley), ESPECIALLY mwpp. Canon game means canon characters, and they are NOT gay. That's that. Slash is awesome but play it in the AU games, people!
    - Lack of plot - kills MWPP games more than anything I think. Mods having an overarching goal and plot they're moving people toward seems to be the best way to do this (while the mini-plots keep people busy in the meantime)
    - Incestuous Blacks/Bad Purebloods - haha, okay incest CAN happen in pureblood families, but c'mon, people, probably not that generation, that closely.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??
Journals more than logs, I'd say, but NO logs from someone would be a bit of a red flag - activity, yeah, just some form of monthly activity necessary.

    # ANYTHING ELSE???
Keep me updated, please!! I'm a little wary of MWPP games since Mems just cause of my pet peeves above plus unreliable mods, or fail at plot, etc, but if something looks good, I want iiiin.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

I like both as they both can be SO much fun. After Hogwarts could be interesting though as most MWPP are set in Hogwarts.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

    No preference.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

Age differences are nice but I don't really care either way.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

Again: James, Ted, and Moran. Try: Frank and Emmeline.

A mixture would be very interesting. I have enjoyed premades before.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time. It's just less confusing that way.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

Just attention to the culture of that era.

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

Age appropriate pbs. A 30 year old can not pass as a high school student.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

Journals as you can get some great interaction through characters that way. Usually when logs are forced they never get finished. It's more to do it then really work on it?

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

Yes!! And I like school games and out-of-school games equally for completely different reasons. In short: bring it either way.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

I'm a war girl, but I like the angst balanced with real life situations. I think it's more potent that way.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

    Eh. Canon.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try? REGULUS BLACK OH GOD. I haven't played him in 2 years and I MISS HIM. Other than that, I'd be coerced into Andromeda Black, Severus Snape, or James Potter.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Would you prefer to have it that way, or instead, have non-canon pairings (aka Lily/James v. Katie bell's parents) not set in stone? I'm not big on premades. Like, some premades are obvious - it's canon - but other than that? No thanks! I like that openness.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

I'm scattered. Games that operate in real time are definitely the easiest.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

    All four MWPP played, please.

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

    Remus/Sirius, sorry to say.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

Journals more than logs, yeah. I love logging and I'm fine with activity requirements regarding it, but I prefer journals and commenting.

    This is exciting!

At! I think I read someone making the case that the after's been fielded already, and I'd have to put my $0.02 in that pocket, too.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?
    Eh, not torn either way!

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?
Iiiii... leave that to people that are interested in playing one of the Blacks to sort out.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?
I've been really itching for school-age!Remus and God knows my last attempt didn't work out -- plus, I'm Remus-less entirely now, so any Remus would be awesome -- but you uhm... probably knew that. >_> Otherwise, I'd have to see the character list!

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? I'm a fan of freedom of choice when it comes to non-canon stuff. \m/

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

    - In School but not adverse to out of school
    - Don't mind
    - Keep according to canon (but I will play with them tweaked)
    - Cassandra Agar (OC), Antonin Dolohov (A), Minerva McGonagall (A), Druella Black (A), Orion Black (A), Narcissa Black/Malfoy (New), Andromeda Tonks/Black (new), Bellatrix (new), Severus (A), Lucius (A), Rodolphus (A), Amelia Bones (A)- pretty much the Black family plus a couple of other charries
    - Left open but again not adverse to premade
    - Real Time
    - Don't stick to canon. Allow other bits and pieces to happen even if the result is canon (but the result can be AU)
    - Journal use
    - All lovey-dovey characters. James/Lily etc are automatically attracted to each other at the beginning of 6th/7th year etc. No build u

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

YYY. Preferably at Hogwarts, but I'm fine with both.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

Since I'm in Perdition which is very ZOMG WAR, for the sake of balance I'd like something not so war-centric.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

    No preference.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

Lily, but that's likely not going to happen since everyone and their mother plays her. Gawain Robards as a Head Boy, since I never got to play him at Bollocks. The mother of Zacharias Smith/Hannah Abbott/Neville Longbottom. Amelia Bones. Oh, and I would really like to try my hand at Remus.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? Lily without James would just be WEIRD, imo, but otherwise I don't really have a preference.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

As long as it's clear what day it is at any given time, I don't care what timing a game has.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

Plot points throughout the game so people have something to work with and the game doesn't collapse after two weeks. Nice people.

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

Games that collapse after two weeks. I am easy to please, in general, though.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP-era game? If yes, would you be more interested in a game that takes place AT Hogwarts? or AFTER Hogwarts?

It is quite possible that I could be easily enticed into playing in another MWPP game. I have Brandi's that I'm in, but I could use another outlet. In-School, out of school, actually a mixture of both could be fun. Sort of centered on the wizarding world, but all tying in together. So it's not just school and it's not just the ministry or something.

    # Would you be interested in a MWPP game that is very war-involved/centric? Or would you rather a game that while the war is taking place and is used to keep plot moving forward it is not the central focus of the game?

I think the war is something that should play out and is a major part, but opportunity for other subplots as well.

    # Would you rather see the ages of the Black family members tweaked to all be closer aka in school, or plz don't break canon thanks?

    Canon. SVP.

    # Are there any characters you are dying to play again? Or try?

I'm already playing my baby from MW in Brandi's game, so I don't know if I could play him at both places, which is regrettable. I'm pretty open to adopting a new emo muppet, possibly a DE >.>. But I'd have to see what strikes my fancy later.

    # For in-school MWPP era games, do you like having a slew of premade characters, including who they are destined to marry and what spawn they are destined to have? A mixture. The canon parents and pairings are good to have, but also the opportunity for relationships to develop naturally, and not have the entire character's existence focus on the fact that they have to get with this other character.

    # Do you prefer games that operate in REAL TIME? Games that operate where it's one month in RL and another in RP life? Games that go 2 days RL = 1 day rp?

Real time is a must for me.

    # Any MUST HAVES for MWPP era games?

DEs, bad hair, sensibility of the time, opportunities for every character to be invovled

    # Any absolute PET PEEVES?

Drama. And by drama I mean OOC BS. Also everything focusing only on the Marauders and/or Death Eaters. There are other people out there.

    # What are your preferred activity requirements? Journals emphasized more then logs, or the other way around??

At the very bare minimum one activity (journal or log) once a month, more emphasis on logging than journaling. Probably one piece of activity at least once a week, but the ability to be flexible with that on a case by case basis without everyone freaking out.

    # ANYTHING ELSE???

Player involvement on what happens is great. And playing with new people. And having opportunities to do stuff. But making it fun (PRETENDY FUNTIME GAMES PEOPLE!) and not so active that leaving for a weekend turns into "I'm lost with the game" and stuff.
